Guestbook
Hi Having had an informative visit to the museum and site this afternoon we would be interested in joining the next walk around the site and surrounding area.

Virtual museum visit
Thank you for the virtual museum. We’ve had an enjoyable half an hour clicking and reading. Ruth liked the bone pins and tweezers; I was intrigued by the amphora and seal box. Thank you for sharing at this difficult time, when no one can visit in person.

I am looking forward to Mike Hodder's tour on 18th May. I have been on it before but I learn something new about the settlement each time. The tea and cake are good too!

Easter Trail
Thank you for arranging another super Easter Egg Trail and finding another corny answer to your puzzle!
The weather was great, the children and parents enjoyed finding the clues on the Roman soldiers ( one did prove quite tricky!) and the refreshments were very satisfying.
Thanks again.

Walk around the Roman site.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Doctor Mike Hodder and the friends of Letocetum for organising a super guided tour of the site last Saturday afternoon. Despite adverse weather conditions, the walk was both informative and enjoyable. Mike proved to be a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and provided us with a real understanding of the extent and significance of this unique Roman site.Refreshments in the village hall afterwards was an added and much welcomed bonus. What a brilliant way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Training for the Trenches
Thank you for a super talk given on 9th November by Stephen Dean, Staffordshire's chief archaeologist.
It was fascinating to hear about the importance of Cannock Chase during the Great Wars. I didn't realise that there was so much activity in such close proximity to my home concerning important preparations for the War and War effort.
A really interesting and easy to listen to speaker, Stephen spoke with such knowledge and enthusiasm. I will certainly be attending his talk on the Staffordshire Hoard. In fact, I am looking forward to attending all of your talks. The themes are very varied and interesting.
Thank you again.

Walk around Wall Village
Thank you to The Friends for arranging a very enjoyable and informative walk around the village led by Mike Hodder. I learned a lot from Mike, an archaeologist who showed obvious excitement when talking about his personal involvement with digs at Wall in the 1970s. His breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm led to a super experience. Thank you again.
